Meet the Team

  • Adele Pacini

    Adele is one of our directors. She is a registered Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy teacher with the British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA). A chartered clinical psychologist, she previously worked in the NHS before establishing the Mindful Life Group.

  • Amanda Bloomfield

    Amanda is the CEO of Gatehouse Charity, and provides support and mentorship for our organisation. We work also in partnership with Gatehouse Charity to deliver some of our mindfulness courses. You can read more about Gatehouse charity and their work here

  • Annabel Stickland

    Annabel is one of our directors, a psychology graduate with an interest in qualitative approaches to understanding people’s experiences on the course. She manages the delivery of our programs and supports our interns and volunteers.

  • Gemma Hawkins

    Gemma is a psychology graduate with interests in clinical and educational psychology. She oversees the data collection and analysis for our courses, and co-leads on funding applications alongside Adele.

  • Raechel Schoder

    Raechel works on our community outreach work, helping us to let people know about upcoming mindfulness courses. A psychology undergraduate, she also assists with running the courses and has worked with various clinical groups in the NHS and community.

  • Krystal Iniguez

    Krystal is a psychology graduate with an interest in occupational therapy. She helps us to interpret our text based feedback from people who attend the mindfulness courses

  • Janice Birrell

    Janice will graduate with a BSc Hons Psychology with Counselling degree this summer. She has an interest in qualitative approaches to understanding people's experiences and is assisting with transcription and qualitative analysis of focus and follow-on group interviews

  • Aimee Bailey

    Aimee is a final year psychology student with an interest in clinical and neuropsychology. She helps us with our qualitative data analysis and is passionate about working with older people

  • Summer-Jeanne Spencer

    Summer-Jeanne is a biology degree student and qualified health coach, with an interest in science communication for health and wellbeing

  • Amy Photiou

    Amy is a second year psychology with counselling undergraduate with a keen interest in clinical psychology and psychosexual counselling. She is helping us with transcribing our interviews and supporting delivery of our mindfulness courses.

  • Michelle Nicholson

    Michelle has completed a post graduate certificate in Psychology and Neuroscience of mental health and is working towards completing her Masters Degree. She has an interest in mental health, autism, mindfulness and hopes to be accepted on a PhD program next year, with the aim of becoming a clinical psychologist or psychological researcher. Michelle assists us with our courses and qualitative data analysis.

  • Daisy-May Last

    Daisy-May is a psychology graduate and qualified yoga teacher with an interest in clinical psychology. She is passionate about qualitative research and working with young people and older adults. Daisy-May helps us with our mindfulness courses and qualitative research.

  • Ashley Roberts - Clinical Psychologist in Training

    Ashley delivers some of our mindfulness courses under the supervision of Dr Adele Pacini. She will be working with us for six months as part of her doctoral training at the University of East Anglia.

  • Holly Avery - Clinical Psychologist in Training

    Holly delivers some of our mindfulness courses under the supervision of Dr Adele Pacini. She will be working with us for six months as part of her doctoral training at the University of East Anglia.

  • Liam Wakefield

    Liam is an accredited counsellor with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society, and is an associate counselling lecturer for Northbrook College. He will graduate from the Disabled Veterans Scholarship Programme with a BSc Hons in Psychology with Counselling degree next summer, and plans to continue his academic venture into clinical psychology. He has a deep interest in psychodynamics and existentialism, and works passionately towards gaining a greater understanding of how to help others.

  • Alex Atandi

    Alex is a Clinical Research intern and has interests to become a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist. He is currently studying MSc Psychology at the Open University through the Disabled Veterans Scholarship Fund. Alex has interests in the Cognitive part of Psychology as it forms a central part of understanding behaviour. He is also passionate about creative writing and poetry.
